About Sew-Stitch-Creat8
Sewstitchcreat8 was created by Mandy King – an avid ‘seamstress’ from young, having clothes made by her Mother as a child, to then learning from her, and then during schooling enjoyed needlework and wanted to create a workshop for other sewers that would find inspirational and the place where a sewer could spend an enjoyable hour carefully choosing the bits and pieces for a planned project – drove her to create a Workshop that all Seamstresses dream of.
Mandy set up the workshop in 2012. The workshop is a converted garage that the previous owner had Wedding Horse carriages in there, now a transformed Workshop/studio with a Cutting Table, fully insulated with lots of light surrounding by farms, country lanes and fields.
Sewstitchcreat8 is committed to providing an enjoyable experience, leaving the session with a Project that you can take away and use.

Look at our Sewing Classes Levels to see what suits you.We have Home sewing machines and Overlockers, also if you are studying a Fashion Degree and want to learn on a Industrial Machine, we have a Lockstitch Machine, Overlocker and Felling machine, but don’t be daunted on how fast these go, these are what is used in manufacturing so they need to be fast!
If you have a pattern or some fabric you’ve had for ages sitting in a cupboard, this is the ideal opportunity to make something, we will provide the tape measure, scissors, thread, pins, ruler etc. to get you going.
Sewstitchcreat8 is very keen on Recycling – it will make you feel good and you will be amazed what we can turn an old top into! So bring it along and be inspired to mix, adapt and customise your item to make it last longer.
